HOW A TYPICAL SHOW IS RUN
at the
Louisiana Tech University Planetarium
- Groups schedule a "restroom break" before entering the Planetarium.The planetarium has no restrooms. There are several buildings that are open during the week that are in walking distance that do have restrooms .
- The group sponsor signs-in and submits payment while the group goes to the restroom.
- Planetarium workers greet students and discuss a few rules.
- Interactive slide show is shown.
- A few important constellations are viewed.
- The "Space Ship Ride!" is shown.
- The lights are brought up slowly.
- A "Question & Answer" session occurs (if time permits).
- Everyone checks to make sure nothing is left behind.
- Please watch your step while leaving.

The Planetarium main theatre is handicapped accessible and has spaces for several wheelchairs.
