The official permanent academic records for all TECH students are maintained by the Office of the University Registrar. This information is protected by federal law and release of any of this information is done in accordance University policy based on the guidelines set forth in the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974, as amended. Enrollment Verification may be obtained by the student or released to another party based on the student's written authorization.

• Enrollment Verification is a service provided free of charge.
• LA TECH provides verifications beginning the 4th class day of each term (after the end of the drop/add period).

BY SELF SERVICE:

Students can use the "On-line Enrollment Verification" menu option on their B.O.S.S. account to produce an Enrollment Verification Certificate. You will need Adobe Acrobat and a printer to produce the certificate.

Complete and sign an Authorization for Release of Information form at the Registrar's Office, Keeny Hall 207, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Verifications requested in person will be ready for pickup the following work day after 10:00 a.m. or will be placed in the mail that day.

Be prepared to show your student I.D. or a picture I.D. when requesting and picking up verifications in the office.

Verifications will not be released to another party unless the student has given written authorization with the request. The designated person will be expected to show a picture I.D. before obtaining the verification letter.
