Only those students who can demonstrate strong potential for completing all degree requirements will be recommended for admission into the program. Successful applicants typically have

• a bachelor’s degree in communicative disorders,
• a minimum GPA of 3.2 in communicative disorders courses (or in the last 30 semester hours of course work if the bachelor’s degree is not in communicative disorders),
• a minimum GPA of 3.0 in all course work pursued at the bachelor’s degree level,
• a Letter of Intent that is strong in content and demonstrates good written mechanics and organization and communication skills that are characterized by organization and clarity, and
• letters of recommendation that provide strong support for the applicant’s potential for success as a graduate student.
