DESCRIPTION:
The story of how Methodist settlers, including William Campbell, John Lewis Wardlaw, and Thomas Neal, founded the Old Castor Methodist Church in Bienville Parish around 1852, including the history of the early church, names and dates of service of pastors, 1854 to 1877, and later history of the Old Castor Church until it burned in 1926.
