FOLDER:001 DESCRIPTION: Two letters from John Murrell, one to his brother Isaac (1853) dealing with plantation affairs and local news, and one to his niece Alice Murrell Colquitt (1902) about her father Isaac. Two letters from Rebecca Murrell to her niece Lou Eddins about home life, social gossip, and war talk. Several letters from Isaac Murrell to his niece Lou Eddins written during the Civil War in which he writes about relatives and friends in the Civil War and about plantation life. Other letters to members of the Murrell family about family relationships and activities of certain members. Excerpts from Isaac Murrell's Day Book of his business transactions in the 1840's.
