Summary: Maintain and manage the Louisiana Tech University Special Collections, Archives and Manuscripts department; process collections; prepare finding aids and guides which explain history, scope, content and arrangement of the collections; coordinate preservation activities; reference services; monitor and analyze the operations of the department; provide regular written and statistical reports of activities and accomplishments; plan for improving services and provide assessments of resources needed in the department and supervise support staff, graduate assistants and student workers in archival functions; present on topics of interest such as POW Camp Ruston, history of Louisiana Tech, history of northeast Louisiana; provide instructions on how to preserve personal documents and photographs.
