All examinations are given only on computer, Monday–Friday.Scores are viewed upon completion of each test, which is 90 min. in length. If taking the College Composition Modular exam for English 101 please allow for an additional 90 minutes; however, the written essay may be taken on another day.

A student will not be allowed to receive credit on the CLEP Exam if he/she has passed, failed, or withdrawn from the Tech equivalent course(s) or if he/she is presently enrolled in the course.

*To receive credit for English 101 students must make a passing score on the College Composition Modular exam and also write a satisfactory essay. Please remember, evaluation of scores on both portions of the English test by the University's English Department determines credit.

**CLEP examinations will not be accepted for credit for any 300-400 level business course for students enrolled in the College of Administration and Business at Louisiana Tech.

NOTE: The final determination of how CLEP credit may be awarded at Louisiana Tech University will be determined by the academic area responsible for the student's degree program. Additional concerns or questions should be directed to the dean of the school in which the student is enrolled. It is advisable to check with your academic dean before taking a CLEP test.

ACE recommends a uniform credit-granting score of 50 on most all subjects.
