Welcome!

On behalf of the Panhellenic Council, I would like to be the first to welcome you to Louisiana Tech University. We are very excited that you have chosen to spend your college career here with us at Tech, and we are even more excited that you have chosen to be a part of the Sorority life.  This is a choice that will influence you not only throughout your college career, but will also prepare you for the relationships that you will make once you graduate.

As sorority women we pride ourselves in the ability to balance all aspects of collegiate life, as well as all other challenges that we are faced with throughout our years at Louisiana Tech.  In addition to the friends, socials, and many other fun activities that sorority life offers, we pride ourselves on going beyond the academic standards and have higher GPAs than non-Greek women.  As a result of this, sorority women have a higher graduation rate than those that are not in a Greek system.  Campus involvement is also another achievement on which sorority members pride themselves.  One hundred percent of sorority members are involved with other campus organizations and most of these women hold leadership positions in these organizations.  We believe that the more you put into college, the more you will get out of it.

And last, but not least, sorority women dominate the field of community service.  All four chapters on Tech's campus have their own charity and philanthropy that they participate in helping.  Sorority women have put in countless hours helping with charities and have turned community service into projects that the whole campus looks forward to every year.  Being a part of sorority life provides women with the confidence and courage to be successful in school and life beyond college.  We look forward to meeting you and being with you through the greatest times of your life here at Louisiana Tech University.

For those interested in joining a sorority, we highly encourage you to register for our Fall Recruitment.  If you have any questions, please review our website or call us at 318-257-3479 and a member of the Panhellenic Executive Council will be happy to help in anyway possible. Please come and be a part of our Greek Bulldawg Family!
