Welcome!

On behalf of the Panhellenic Council, I would like to be the first to welcome you to Louisiana Tech University. We are thrilled you have chosen to spend you college experience here and want to encourage you to be a part of our exceptional Sorority Greek Life.

We, as sorority women, pride ourselves on our ability to balance all aspects of collegiate life and more! In addition to our fun and exciting social lives, I feel it is more important to stress our excellent reputation in academics, campus involvement, and community service. It is because of each sorority's academic requirements, such as a minimum GPA, that causes the overall average GPA of sororities to be higher than that of non-Greek women at Louisiana Tech. It is easy to see why the graduation rate for sorority women is higher that that of non-Greek women. In campus involvement, one hundred percent of all sorority women participate in various clubs other than their sorority, and many hold leadership positions in these non-Greek organizations. Community service is a field dominated by Greeks. Last year alone, combined Louisiana Tech sororities' helped raise over $60,000 and volunteered over 10,000 hours toward national and local philanthropies. Being a part of a sorority provides young women the opportunities, guidance, incentives, and positive relationships needed to succeed both in school and life.

For those interested in joining a sorority, we highly encourage you to register for our Fall Recruitment. If you have any questions, please visit our website at www.latech.edu/students/panhellenic or call us at 318-257-3479. A member of the Panhellenic Executive Council would love to help in anyway possible. Please come and be a part of our Greek Bulldawg Family!
