Welcome to our Panhellenic Homepage!

As the President of Panhellenic, I speak on behalf of the entire council when I say, "Welcome to the Tech family!"  Coming to Tech will prove to be one of the best decisions you will ever make.  Now it's time to make another great decision, the decision to join sorority life!  As you learn more about Tech, you will soon discover that sorority women stand out on this campus.  They are the women who are involved in campus organizations, who cheer on the Bulldawgs at sporting evnets, and who repeatedly fill the President's List due to high scholastic achievement.  Sorority life encourages you to make the most of your college experience and helps to make that possible.  Joining one of our four sisterhoods will provide you with endless benefits, not only throughout your college years, but also for the many years to follow.

Being Greek comes with great pride!  The Greek women at Tech focus on ACADEMICS.  They collectively maintain a higher GPA than the all-women's average.  Our chapters offer great scholastic assistance, they make time for study hours, they provide financial scholarship toward membership dues, and they reward sisters who excel in their classes!  COMMUNITY SERVICE is another aspect that our chapters provide.  Throughout the year, the Greek women help to raise money for charitable causes.  CAMPUS INVOLVEMENT is another tenant by which our sorority women live.  Greek women represent numerous organizations including: the Student Government Association, Union Board, the Regal Blues, Student Recruiters, Orientation Student Leaders and many more; our ladies make sure they are well represented on campus!  The SOCIAL aspect of our sororities is another great benefit of joining the Greek system.  In addition to being studious, involved, and charitable, our women love to have fun!  Each house puts on frequent social events including formal dances, costume parties, movie nights, exchanges with fraternities and celebration banquets.  Your best memories in college will surely be those you make with your sisters.

I encourage you to check back to our website frequently to obtain valuable information regarding our events, especially our upcoming 2011 Fall Recruitment!  There are various methods that you can use to obtain information including: "liking" us on Facebook, following us on Twitter, emailing us at panhellenic@latech.edu, calling our Advisor at 318-257-2488 or coming by Keeny Hall 310.  We can't wait for you to become a part of our Greek Bulldawg Family!

Greek Love & Mine,

Alex Bellone
2011 Panhellenic President
Louisiana Tech Panhellenic Council
