Fall 2014 Move-in
Our Residential Life staff is thrilled to have you living on campus with us this Fall! We are excited to welcome you to the Tech family on Move-in day and look forward to helping you feel at home from the very beginning!
Dog Haul, the event where organizations across campus volunteer their time to help you move in, is scheduled for Friday, August 29th from 9am-1pm and is the first opportunity you will have to check-in to your assigned residence hall or apartment. Our Residential Life staff will be available until 3pm on Friday, August 29th to check you into your Fall room. If you cannot arrive that day, you may opt to check-in on Saturday, August 30th from 9am-noon or on Sunday, August 31st from 1-5pm. Due to the holiday on September 1st, we will not have scheduled check-ins. If you plan to come that day, you will need to contact our office so that we can arrange special accommodations for your arrival. Check-ins will also be held on Tuesday, September 2nd and Wednesday, September 3rd from 9am-4pm.
Students assigned to Graham, Pearce, and Dudley halls should check-in first at Pearce Hall Lobby.
Students assigned to Adams, Aswell, and Harper halls should check-in first at Harper Hall Lobby.
Students assigned to Mitchell and Cottingham halls should check-in first at Mitchell Hall Lobby.
Students assigned to University Park (Caruthers, Kidd, Sutton, Thatcher, and Neilson) and Park Place (Hutcheson, McFarland, and Jenkins) should check-in at the Lambright Intramural Sports Center classroom if checking in on Friday, Saturday or Sunday. If checking in on Tuesday or Wednesday, residents should check-in at the Residential Life office in Wyly Tower.

The number of applications for undergraduate on-campus housing has exceeded Residential Life's housing capacity at this time. If you are applying for Fall 2014 as an incoming freshman, we cannot guarantee that you will be assigned a space on campus. However, your name will be added to a waiting list and assigned according to your placement on the list, as space becomes available throughout the summer. If you apply and are not assigned an on-campus space, the application fee will be refunded to your student account. We are not currently accepting applications for transfer or returning students. Please contact our office should you have any questions regarding the application process.
