ABOUT
Louisiana Tech University encourages its students to participate in varied educational experiences including academic programs that foster opportunities for culturally enriching experiences outside the United States.
THE FLORENCE PROGRAM
Spend 5 weeks in the heart of Florence learning about Medieval and Renaissance Italy and earning up to 6 credit hours in History and Architecture.
Students will visit an incredible number of historical sites, buildings, museum, and particularly explore Italian culture. Florence is internationally renowned for being the birthplace of modern Italian language and also for being the emblem of Italian culture.
But the contemporary Florence is a different reality: it is also a cosmopolitan city, populated by students coming from every corner of the world who wish to deepen their Italian language and culture studies.
Classes include lectures and informal presentations by Tech faculty from the History department and the School of Architecture.
