An Alternative Energy Vehicle Rally
The SunDay Challenge is held this year at the Florida Solar Energy Center on April 1st and 2nd. Among its many alternative energy research projects, FSEC is researching the development of alernative fuel vehicles powered by the following primary energy sources:
Solar
Electric (LaTech)
Hydrogen
Fuel cells
Natural gas
Propane
This exciting two-day event receives television, radio, and press coverage as we feature:
First day-vehicle performance testing on a race track.
Second day-actual open road communter driving.
