The Valkyrie Honor Guard is a precision drill team and color guard that represents Detachment 305 at Louisiana Tech University. The VHG participates in a wide variety of activities; including presenting the Colors at Home Games, Saber Details for VIPs & weddings, and Precision Drill Competitions across the country.


The namesake of VHG is the North American XB-70A Valkyrie, an experimental Mach 3 strategic bomber. The lone remaining Valkyrie is located at the Air Force Museum, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio.
