Electrical Engineering Program Educational Objectives Survey

Based on your professional experience since graduation, please rate how well your undergraduate education at Louisiana Tech met the following objectives:

ELEN-EO-01. Depth. To produce graduates who have a fundamental knowledge needed for the practice, or advanced study in, electrical engineering. Our graduates will receive an emphasis in at least two of the following four application areas: electric power, communications, controls, and microelectronics.

ELEN-EO-02. Breadth. To produce graduates who have a broad education necessary for productive careers or the pursuit of graduate education, including a knowledge of important current issues in electrical engineering.

ELEN-EO-03. Professionalism. To produce graduates who have strong communications skills, who understand and undertake professional ethical responsibilities, and who function effectively as members and leaders of multi-disciplinary teams.

ELEN-EO-04. Lifelong Learning. To produce graduates who believe that their undergraduate electrical engineering education was a wise investment and who continue to develop their knowledge and skills after graduation.
