
Single graduate students may live in University dormitories or in rooms or apartments in Ruston. The University also operates housing for married students.
The total cost of room and board for students living in University housing is about $775/quarter.
Financial aid for graduate students is provided by government, industry,
and University fellowships and teaching assistantships or by appointments
to sponsored research projects supported by industry and government
agencies. The academic load that an appointee may carry will be adjusted
if the appointment involves a sizable work load.
Out of state fees are waived for students holding assistantships.
