Wireless
communication, with its mobility and flexibility, has enjoyed tremendous
growth recently. Hundreds of millions of people exchange information everyday
using pagers, cellular telephones and other wireless communication products.
However, wireless communication is just at the beginning. It will go far
beyond voice application and penetrate in every corner of the world and any
aspect of human life.
In this thesis, we investigate a short-range wireless network system, which
utilizes the cutting edge wireless technology with extra-low power consumption,
interference rejection, multiple accessibility and integratability. Intensive
background information about wireless communication, related technologies
and their market occupations are collected and summarized in the beginning.
Based on it, the feasibility of our proposed system in market as well as
technique point of view is studied, and the main system features and specifications
are developed. The main body of the thesis is on hardware connection, PN
code developing, baseband DSP processing and sophisticate network construction.
The performance test is conducted after the fully development of the system.
