The School of Architecture would like to cordially invite you to the fourth lecture of the 2005-2006 Louisiana Tech School of Architecture Lecture Series. Our guest, Dan Rockhill, and architect and professor of architecture, will discuss his work in a lecture entitled: " Design and Construction/Hand and Mind: the Work of Rockhill and Associates."

Mr. Rockhill's design/build office has won numerous design awards and is the subject of a book entitled "Design/Build: The Architectural Projects of Rockhill and Associates," which is due for release later this Fall. For more information on his work, please visit http://rockhillandassociates.com/

His graduate student's work at the University of Kansas, dubbed Studio 804, has also used the design/build methodology to create ten projects since 1995. The subject of numerous articles, Studio 804 won the NCARB Prize in 2003. The current focus of the work has been an investigation of modular and affordable housing.
