Mary Alice Posey Garrett English Scholarship

The Mary Alice Posey Garrett English Scholarship shall be awarded to approximately one student per academic year for $400-$1,000 and is available for renewal.

Criteria

• The recipient must be a transfer student, continuing freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior English major
• The recipient must maintain a 3.0 GPA at the end of the academic year
• The recipient should show promise of classroom teacher of English
• The recipient must remain a full-time student during the time they hold the scholarship
