Geography Map Quiz Home Page |
Before we finish any section on a world region, you will be required to complete a map quiz regarding that region.
The idea is to enhance your preparedness for the lecture and discussion to follow regarding the region and to cut down on the amount of class time devoted to passing out, taking and collecting map quizzes.

The problem with on-line quizzes is that you may not get as much out of these because you can clandestinely work with a partner or with an atlas at your desk. I accept that risk, but as a safeguard will require you to take a “refresher” map quiz in the context of the midterm and final exams. These secondary quizzes will be easy if you actually learned the map quiz material during the first round, but more difficult if you were less than truthful to your own self-interest while you took on-line map quiz.
