Geography is an excellent discipline to consider for a major because it offers a solid liberal-arts style education while providing ample training in marketable high-tech skills. When you graduate with a major in geography from Louisiana Tech, you will be able to think critically and write well, plus you will know how to use a variety of software packages. Both of these skills are necessary for you to become a well-rounded citizen and a good employee.
Few majors offer such a one-two
punch. It is the best of both
worlds.
