A. I would like to see the fine for parking in an unauthorized area doubled. Currently the fine is $15, which is reduced by one-third if paid within 48 hours. Under the new guidelines, the fine would be $30, which would be reduced to $20 if paid within 48 hours. (This was the suggestion made by the faculty senate last year.)
B= 40 189 21.16 B. I would like the base fine to remain the same ($15), but it should increase to $25 if not paid within 48 hours.
C= 44 189 23.28 C. I like things the way they are--do not change the fine structure.

A. 2:00 is an appropriate time for students to be permitted to park in faculty lots.
B= 68 187 36.36 B. Until a more credible survey supports such a change, I would like the time moved back to 3:00 again.
C= 101 187 54.01 C. Students should not be allowed to park in faculty lots until 3:00 regardless of survey results.

1. I would like to see the type of hierarchical system that exists at many other universities in place here at Tech. For example, faculty and staff can park anywhere (blue or white areas), students can park only in white areas.

2. I would like for cars parked in unauthorized areas to be towed, as is done at many major universities.

3. I would like to see those who have more than five tickets in any one quarter appear before judicial affairs as opposed to going before the traffic committee. The idea here is to modify behaviors by enacting punishment that entails more than merely writing a check.
