Alicia Kaigler Jackson (MA, 1999) received the PhD in history at the University of Mississippi. She is currently employed as assistant professor of history at Covenant College, Lookout Moutain, Ga.
Collin S. Garbarino (BA 1998) received the MDiv at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and the MA and PhD at Louisiana State University-Baton Rouge. He is employed as assistant professor of history at Houston Baptist University, Houston, Texas.
J. Mark Scalia (BA 1995, MA 1997) is teaching AP world and US history at Atascocita High School, Humble, Tex. Mark Scalia is the author of Germany's Last Mission to Japan: The Failed Voyage of U-234 (Naval Institute Press, 2000). He is at work on a second book.
Donna Rice Allen (BA 1994, MA 1996) owns and operates the Maple Street Bookstore in New Orleans, LA.
Benjamin Mark Allen (MA, 1996) received his PhD in history from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2008. Dr. Allen is on the history faculty at South Texas College in McAllen.
Sam McClure (BA, 1995) received his MA in history at Texas A&M University. He is currently employed as electronic records life cycle officer at the Office of Presidential Libraries, a division of the U.S. National Archives and Records Administration in College Park, Maryland.
Jeffrey E. Holmes (MA, 1992) is now employed as district administrator of the Montello Public School District in Montello, Wisc.
Ernest Oliver (BA 1985, MA 1988) is employed as manager of an IBM technical support department in Austin, Tex.
Carol Crawford Holcomb (BA 1988) received the MDiv at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and the PhD at Baylor University. She is currently associate professor of church history at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, Belton, Tex.
Rebecca Wiggins Hawkins (BA 1987) holds a law degree from the Mississippi College of Law. She is currently an associate in the firm of Wise Carter Child & Caraway in Jackson, Miss.
Jay A. Fernandez (BA 1982, MA 1985) holds an MPA from Florida Atlantic University. Following retirement from the Broward County, Fla., Sheriff’s Department in 2010, he has been named director of public safety for the city of North Myrtle Beach, S.C.
Miro D. Lago (BA 1985) is employed as general manager of the Hilton Garden Inn (historic King Edward Hotel) in Jackson, Miss.
Malcolm S. Murchison (BA 1974) is a partner in the law firm of Bradley Murchison Kelly and Shea. Among recent honors he was named Shreveport Best Lawyers Oil and Gas Lawyer of the Year for 2011.
Dennis Shockley (BA 1970) received the MA in history from Pittsburg State University and the PhD from Kansas State University. He currently serves as executive director of the Oklahoma Housing Finance Agency. Dr. Shockley is a graduate of the Program for Senior Executives in State and Local Government at Harvard University's John F. Kennedy School of Government, and he serves on the board of directors of the National Council of State Housing Agencies. His recent book, co-authored with Holley Mangham, How We Lived: A Pictorial History of the Places Oklahomans Have Called Home, was a 2009 Oklahoma Book Award finalist.
Charles C. Chadbourn, III (M.A., 1967) was a charter member of Lambda-Rho Chapter, Phi Alpha Theta. He holds a Ph.D. in history from the University of Washington and has served as an officer in the U.S. Naval Reserve. Dr. Chadbourn is currently professor of strategy at the Naval War College.
Jennifer S. Cargill (BA 1965) is dean of libraries at Louisiana State University-Baton Rouge.
