Jace Stuckey
Assistant Professor of History
Dr. Stuckey joined the history faculty at Louisiana Tech University in the fall of 2006 after completing his PhD at the University of Florida. He is a specialist in Medieval Europe with an interest in the Crusades, medieval literature, the figure of Charlemagne, and the history of the Church. In addition, he teaches courses on ancient civilization, early modern Europe, and the history of Science. He has presented research at national and international conferences. His co-edited volume, The Legend of Charlemagne in the Middle Ages: Power, Faith, and Crusade was just published by Palgrave Macmillian. In addition to his editorial duties, Dr. Stuckey also contributed a chapter to the volume entitled,"Charlemagne as Crusader? Memory, Propaganda, and the Many Uses of Charlemagne's Legendary Expedition to Spain."
