Glen Jeansonne is professor of history at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Among the eight books he has written or edited are Leander Perez: Boss of the Delta (1977), Gerald L. K. Smith: Minister of Hate (1988), Messiah of the Masses: Huey P. Long and the Great Depression (1993), Transformation and Reaction: American, 1921-1945 (1994) and Women of the Far Right: The Motherís Movement and World War II. Jeansonne, a native of Louisiana, has received Teaching and Research Awards from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and received the Ph.D. in history from Florida State University
