I graduated in 1978 and
attended LSU Law School from 1978 to 1981. I
met my husband in law school. We have been married since
1981. We both practice law (separately!) in Metairie,
Louisiana. I am with the law firm of Hailey, McNamara,
Hall, Larmann &
Papale, LLP, in Metairie. Our
daughter is now a freshman at LSU (Tri-Delta sorority) and
our son is a sophomore in high school. I am still best
friends with 3 of my Alpha Chi sorority sisters. By
coincidence three of us (Mary Ann Stewart
Torsch and Vicky Smith) ended up
living within 5 blocks of one another in Old Metairie. We
get together on a “girls’ trip” once a year with our
sorority sister, Dr . Phyllis
Hendry, who lives in Jacksonville,
Florida. These wonderful, talented and beautiful
women who I met through Alpha Chi have truly proved to be
life-long friends. We would all love to see our 1978 pledge
class! Let’s plan a reunion.

I live
in Little Rock, Arkansas, with my husband, Tad Price. We
have lived here for 12 years. I am a reading specialist for
Little Rock School District and teach Reading Recovery. Tad
is an architect. My girls, Misha and Kristen, are grown up
now. They both live here in Little Rock. People who know me
will laugh to know that Kristen is 5’10” tall and Misha is
5’8” tall! Misha is getting married in October 2005. I hope
everyone will post something on this web site. I often
wonder what happened to everyone.

I am attending Law School at Southern University in Baton
Rouge. I will be graduating in May and plan to take the bar
exam in July. I am also going to be a grandmother in
August. I have two daughters, Jennifer, who is married, an
attorney and is the expectant mother. She is 27. Martha,
who is 22, is a Senior at Southeastern in Hammond. She is
majoring in Nursing. I have been married to John for 31
years. I would love to hear from all of you who were at
Tech during the years that I was there. I learned so much
from Alpha Chi…especially how to be a leader. I hope all of
you are well.
