After
living in Seattle and Atlanta, my husband (Will) and I moved
back to Ruston in June 2000. This year will be our
ninth year we have been married. Time sure does fly
by. Since moving back, we have had two children -
Autumn (23 months) and Gabriel (8 months). Needless to
say I stay busy, busy just taking care of them. I stay
at home with them now and love being able to do so - both of
our families live here and we spend most of our time just
enjoying them. I currently help out with the House
Corp Board at La Tech for AXO.

getting married on May 21st, 2005 to Patrick
Bertolino, a photographer and artist who is from Houston.

Being married to my husband, Russell Adams (TKE at Tech
'87-'91), for the last almost nine years has been an
adventure to say the least. We have moved six times and
lived in four states---thanks to Wells Fargo. Thankfully two
years ago we finally found a permanent home in the Des
Moines, Iowa area and can be more assured of staying put
here since Wells Fargo Financial and Mortgage are both
headquartered here. Russell loves his job with WFF, and I
love being able to stay at home with our son Will who turns
six in September 2005. We are thrilled to be expecting baby
#2 this October. I taught elementary school for six years in
Louisiana and Mississippi and finished my Master's in
Counseling at Mississippi College before Will was born.
Someday maybe I will get to actually use that degree, but
for now being a mom is my #1 focus and joy. It has been
exciting to meet fellow AX's in the places we have lived
(MS, LA, TN, IA)....and I was especially pleased to find
two sisters in the AX alum group here in Des Moines that are
also P.E.O.'s with me. It is a small world and it is good
to know that we have so many wonderful sisters out there.
Hope y'all are doing well, and I would love to hear from
you.

with my husband, Scott. We are expecting our first child, a
boy, July 25th of this year. We are really
excited about the upcoming addition to our family! I am
Director of Trading Controls for Mirant Corporation in
Atlanta. Currently, I am the Chapter Advisor for the Beta
Sigma chapter of Alpha Chi Omega at the University of
Georgia. I hope I’m making Mrs. Denny proud!
