Engineering & Science Association

As the 2008-2009 school year comes to an end, so must this past year's Association officers.  If you are interested in serving as an officer next year please fill out an application and return it to Mrs. Charlotte in Bogard Hall or you can e-mail us for a form at esa@latech.edu.  Forms are due back by May 13, 2009.

E&S Day 2009 Wrap Up

With roughly 800 students, teachers, and parents in attendace, this year's Engineering and Science Day proved to be the largest in recent history.  Dr. Jenna Carpenter served as our keynote speaker this year and spoke on the recently released Grand Engineering Challenges.  Participants were shown around campus and given various presentations on student projects, engineering labs on campus, engineering and science principles, and also on the different fields of engineering available to students.  Special thanks to the high school teachers who gave their time and effort to bring their students to this year's event.
