The Department of Academic Affairs is responsible for screening applicants for Who's Who Among American Colleges and Universities, selecting recipients, and coordinating a banquet to honor those selected. The Department of Adacemic Affairs is also responsible for handling the Memorial Scholarship Program, which includes a service to honor those students who have passed away during the current academic year.

A reception honoring these students is held in January.

A Memorial Service is held each spring for our classmates who pass away during their time at Tech. All family and friends are welcome to attend. The date of this service will be posted during the Spring Quarter.

If you would like to donate to the scholarship fund, please contact the SGA Office at 318-257-4565 or email us at sga@latech.edu. If you would like to apply for these scholarships, applications will be available this April in Tolliver 211-212. The scholarship amount depends on the donations received.
