SGA Student Loans are:
- only given during posted loan hours, unless otherwise posted.
- not given to first quarter freshman or graduating students.
- not given after 3:30 PM (or 3:00 PM during the summer quarter).
- not given during the last two weeks of the quarter.
Requirements for receiving an SGA Student Loan:
- have at least a 2.0 GPA.
- bring an unofficial transcript (not from BOSS).
- bring 2 valid forms of identification, one of which must be your student ID.
The maximum SGA Student Loan amount is:
- $125.00 or
- $250.00 before the refund date with physical proof that your refund check equals or is greater than the loan amount you are requesting.
The first day to receive an SGA Student Loan is the first day of classes.
During the drop/add period, or the first three (3) days of classes, a maximum of twenty (20) loans will be given out.
A student can receive only ONE (1) loan per quarter. NO EXCEPTIONS!!!
All loans and delinquent fees (a maximum of $25.00) are due by the last day of the quarter; NO EXTENSTIONS will be granted.
