The Treasurer serves as the Chief Financial Officer of the Student Government Association. The Treasurer is responsible for preparing and presenting a budget to the Student Senate each quarter for approval and is also responsible for SGA Student Loans.

The purpose of the SGA Student Loan Fund of the Student Association shall be to provide a fund from which students may obtain short term loans for emergency purposes.

The SGA Student Loan Fund shall be administered by the SGA Treasurer with the guidence of the Dean of Student Development.
