Engineers' Ball
The Engineers' Ball is a formal social event for the entire College of Engineering and Science at Louisiana Tech University. The Engineers' Ball is a tradition that was reinstated in the Spring of 2001. This event provides the faculty and the students an opportunity to have a little fun, proving that engineers and scientists do have personalities (we're not just geeks)! For years the college hosted this event and even elected an Engineering Queen. Now, an Engineers' Court is selected with representatives from each of the major disciplines in the college. From these candidates, we not only elect a queen, but also a king.
