I heard he has props. Funny props. Make you laugh and all. So come out and enjoy this performance with us at 7pm this Tuesday night, March 31, 2009 (that’s tomorrow!). Bring a few friends to laugh with you, or else you might just look silly laughing with yourself :D

To make up for the canceled  movie last week, we’re bringing even a bigger event for you tomorrow. At 7pm, Comedian Tim Young will be in Tolliver with a bag full of laughter for your enjoyment. Remember tomorrow, Tuesday, Feb 17th, 2009. Bring friends!

 I know, you miss us ’cause we didnt have any thing for you last Tuesday. But hey, we gave you a break so you can spend sometimes with your friends, so stop complaining. But we miss you too, and that’s why we’re kidnaping (ok, not kidnaping …) you back for comedian Joy Wood Jr. That’s right, he’s coming here this Tuesday, which as of this post, is TODAY, and you dont want to miss all these pranks calls he’s gonna make! It’s here. The spring quarter is officially here. We were very lucky to be welcomed back with some heavy snow. That was amazing wasn’t it? However, what is more amazing is this Tuesday, March 11th, 2008, we have comedian Paul Varghese coming here to Louisiana Tech University. At 7pm, he’ll be in Tolliver for your comedic moment. So bring your friends and come hang out with us tomorrow, you know you haven’t got any real homework yet.

All the way from Brooklyn, NY, Sherrod Small is coming to Tolliver this Tuesday night @7pm, Feb 12th, 2007. As a regular on VH1’s Best Week Ever, Sherrod sure wont disappoint your Tuesday night. Come and chill with us or you’ll miss out all the funny jokes.

As you already know, Union Board always has an event every week on Tuesday. Well, except for last week, it was a double-dose of fun with Christmas in the Plaza and Miss Tech Pageant 2008. We know you are all very tired from all those sugary cotton candy, and cookies, AND hot chocolate. So this week, to cheer you up, @7pm on Tuesday, December 11, 2008, all the way from New York, we’ll have comedian Victor Varnado come right here on campus for us (Tolliver to be specific). With an impressive resume, he’ll ensure a fantabulous time for you and your friends (you have some of those right?). Make sure to spread out the words, cause it’d be sad if on the next day, you’re left out on your friends’ conversations about this. See you all there! Cheer!

If you haven’t notice, the Union Board new members interview is this week. Actually, it’s going on right now as of this writing. By Thursday, we’ll be introducing our new recruits to the board and give them a warm welcome. It’s all very exciting.

Also, starting Monday, Octber 1st, 2007, Minority Student Organization is having their annual YSB week. So if you haven’t catch one of their events yet, there’s a comedian show tonight in the Tonk at 7pm, October 2, 2007. You’ll be introduced to comedian Cocoa Brown and Redbone and follow them through a journey with hilarious conversations. Take a break from studying and come enjoy the show.

So the welcome back event we had last Thursday was huge hit, as always (ya, like you didn’t know that’s gonna happen). We had lotta people come out enjoy some delicious fried chickens, watermelon, and all sort of side dishes. And eventually, we sadly ran outta food.

But that doesn’t mean we run outta entertainment for you! This Tuesday, September 11th, at 7PM, Union Board has invited comedian Kivi Rogers, all the way from Los Angeles , to our friendly Tolliver Hall. So keep your Tuesday night free, bring some friends, come and have some laughters with us.

If you missed your chance of buying one of the cool Welcome Back t-shirts (designed by Ann Gassen) we had on sale, come by the Union Board office, we still have some left over (not in all size though).

Another exciting news: Union Board is taking applications for membership consideration. On Monday, September 10th, the application will be available both online here at unionboard.com, and at the Student Activities desk in Tolliver Hall. The deadline is 5PM on Thursday, September 20th.
