Small to intermediate alterations, renovations, and other small projects are the responisbility of the Physical Plant.
The Physical Plant Staff provides professional architectural services to meet the needs of the University.
In order to have work performed by the Physical Plant on a project, the client must first seek approval from the Space Utilization Committee
on any changes in space. Also, evidence of an approved source of funding must be provided as the Physical Plant has no budget
for such work. Preliminary sketches and/or advice will be provided free of charge; however, once the office has been authorized
to begin work on a particular project, the appropriate source of funding will be charged, even if the project is not
eventually completed. A signed Work Order
with an account number constitutes authorization.
All questions/comments regarding project design should be directed to the approprate Designer or Project Leader assigned to your project.
A complete version of the work order policy can be found online.
You must have an ID and password to enter workorders; if you do not you may call the physical plant at 3267 to be told how to obtain one.
