Kids in Safety Seats began in 1985 with a grant from the American Red Cross and the National Highway Traffic Safety Commission. Nancy Darland coordinates this program as a community service project by the Division of Nursing at Louisiana Tech University and the Zeta Rho Chapter of Epsilon Sigma Alpha.

Services:

The program offers toddler car safety seats for rent for children aged 6 months to 4 years, or 20-40 pounds. Car seats can be rented for a six month period.
