Gibsland is a rural community of about 1200 inhabitants located in Bienville Parish Louisiana. Conveniently near Interstate 20 and less than an hour from both Shreveport and Monroe Louisiana, Gibsland offers small town living with access to urban amenities.
Gibsland is internationally famous as the the place where outlaws Bonnie and Clyde met their end. We celebrate this event every year at our Bonnie and Clyde Festival. We also are known for the historic homes and beautiful gardens in our community. These are celebrated at our annual Jonquil Jubilee and Historic and Garden Tour where you will be able to appreciate the history and traditions of our beloved town.
