Banner

Replacing the top.gif file with your graphic will result in this graphic appearing on each page. The banner dimensions are 760 x 80 pixels.

To Change the Picture on the Left

Besides the banner, this designs also provides you with the option of adding an image to the left of your homepage. To change the image, you have to overwrite the file side.gif on the images folder of this website with another of preferably 280 x 280 pixels of size. 

To Change the Colors

The colors and fonts for this website are in a css file, style.css, not on the individual webpage.   Open this file up in Mozilla Composer to edit it.  You can search for and replace the existing color codes. The current colors are as follows:

• brown (body background) = #2E0000
• bone white (text) = #FFFFB8
• mustard yellow (links) #D9B366

Tips for content on your homepage

You homepage should contain the most important and up-to-date information of the website. You should not, however, make the homepage extremely cluttered. Keep it to the point. And, if you want to go into detail, you can always link to your other pages in your website to provide more information.
