Moving your website to the server so it can be viewed in the Internet (i.e. uploading your site) can be a time consuming process even in a broadband connection. If you have dial-up we would strongly recommend you to perform this operation in another computer with a high-speed connection.
You have a copy of your website in a folder in your computer.
Uploading Your Website
Open FileZilla
Click on the File Menu and the click on Site Manager...
Figure 1. Entering the Site Manager in FileZilla.
Click on New Site and write a name for the site
Fill the site details as follows:
Host: Your web host will provide this. (e.g. yoursite.org or ftp.yoursite.org)
Logontype: Change the logontype to Normal.
User and Password : Your web host will also provide this information

Click on Advanced...
Change the default local to your websites's folder. (To browse your files click on "...")
If your website needs to be in the public_html folder (some hosting services require this) or if you have your files in a different folder you need to change the Default Remote to such folder (e.g. public_html).
Figure 3. Advanced settings in FileZilla
If you are not sure about whether to specify the public_html folder or not, try both cases and notice which action triggers changes in your website.
Click OK.
On the Site Manager, click on Connect.
You should be able to see your website's files in the left of the screen and an empty folder on your right. (try maximizing the window if you can't see your files clearly). Highlight all the files of your website (try clicking on the first file and then holding down the shift key while you press the down arrow).
Right-click on the selected files and click on Upload.

If you either cannot select all files or cannot right click on them you can also upload them one by one by double-clicking on them individually.
