CinemaTech offers free entertainment
All film lovers and interested students are encouraged to
participate in CinemaTech.
The club, comprised of film fanatics, meets at

Students may come and enjoy popcorn, drinks and a movie.
Admission is free, but a $1 donation is suggested.
This quarter’s theme is independent and innovative films.
After the film, everyone will have the opportunity to
share their thoughts and opinions about the movie in a short discussion.

fitness sessions
Students are encouraged to come to the

Sign up is for three fitness sessions, which can be done
at the individual student’s pace and schedule.
Session 1 is orientation and initial fitness assessment.
Sessions 2 and 3 begin work with cardio and resistance
training.

Department seeks
talented strings
The School of the Performing Arts’ music department seeks
interested students who can play stringed instruments for the Tech string
ensemble.
Some of the stringed instruments for the string ensemble
include violin, cello and double bass.
School instruments may be available for use by interested
students.
The first string concert of the season is Dec. 12., and it is not too late to join for the fall quarter.
Winter quarter sign-up is also available for students.
One credit hour will be assigned to winter sign-ups.

Buy Katrina bands
at A.E. Phillips
Tech and A.E. Phillips students are encouraged to help
with the Hurricane Katrina relief effort by purchasing rubber blue and white
swirl-colored bracelets.
The bracelets can be purchased in the main office at the
Bracelets are $5 and all profits go to non-profit
organizations.
This relief effort will continue until all bracelets are
sold.
Quantity is limited. A.E. Phillips has approximately 100
children and 100 adult-sized bracelets.
Tech students are invited to stop by A.E. Phillips and
