Thursday
• The Student
Government Association will host the 2005 Homecoming parade, which begins at 6 p.m. at Thomas
Assembly Center.
The parade route passes along Tech Drive,
Wisteria Street, Railroad
Avenue and Alabama Avenue.
Friday
• The American
Society of Mechanical Engineers will have its annual Hawg
Roast at 5 p.m. outside of Bogard Hall. The event is
free for all mechanical engineering majors and ASME members.
• An Alumni
Awards Dinner will be held at 7 p.m. in the Student Center, Main Floor. One
exceptional alumnus will be recognized from each college and everyone is
invited to attend. The cost is $25 a person.
• Marc
Broussard and his father, Louisiana Hall of
Fame
guitarist Ted Broussard, will perform a
concert
hosted by the Union Board. The doors open
at 5:30 p.m. and the show starts at 6 p.m. in
Thomas
Assembly Center.
Saturday
• Tech will
face off with the University of North Texas Eagles at 3 p.m. at Joe Aillet Stadium. This game is free to students with a Tech
ID.
Monday
• Counseling
Services will offer the first of two free Career Decision Making workshops for
students this quarter at 4 p.m. today in Keeny Hall,
Room 310.
The workshop
has space for 15 students and is
open on a
first come, first served basis.
