Local bands certainly hold a special place in its residents’ hearts, and Chagrin is no exception.

Being students themselves, Chagrin has made an impression on students.

“People can connect with a band when they know its members more-so than a band with people they have never met,” Chris McPeters, a vocalist and former Tech student, said.  

"We have personal relationships with the fans," McPeters said. 

Influences for Chagrin are very diverse, including Silverchair, Rufus Wainright and Queen.
