Rugby
Rugby head coach Chris Pisciotta would like to recognize outstanding rookies Babajide "Jide" Jagunna, Wells Carville, Anthony Gregory and Michael
"Moe" Thrift.

Tech Rugby will begin this
quarter's games (Tech vs. Loyola, Jan.
28 at 2 p.m., Tech vs. Ole Miss, Feb. 4 at 2 p.m. and Tech vs. Tulane, Feb. 11 at 2 p.m.) on the brand
new pitch the University has prepared for them, located between the Lady Techsters softball and SGA softball fields. The University
has also purchased new
uprights and new equipment for the team. Tech Rugby
would also like to thank the University for their support.

Powerlifting
The 28th Annual High School Powerlifting
Meet will be held in Memorial Gymnasium Jan. 21 from 8:30 a.m. - 6 p.m.
The meet will feature high schools form Texas,
Louisiana, and Mississippi.
Karate
The Regional Qualifier Karate Tournament will be held
in the Ruston High School gymnasium Feb. 4 from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Free to all Tech students with valid Tech ID.
Teams from New Orleans, Monroe, Shreveport and Ruston
will be competing.
The black belt sparring competition is slated to start
at approximately 3 p.m.
Water Skiing
The water ski team meets in the Student Center every Tuesday
night at 8 and is always looking for new members.
