There are several successful styles, and then there are fashion failures. Parachute pants, anyone?

Popping the collar of polo shirts was the biggest fashion flop of the season, and students all across the nation fell into this fad trap.

Brad Kaufman, a junior mechanical engineering major, said students pop collars because they are only trying to fit in.

"I think that popping your collar was just a fad," Kaufman said. "Many people probably popped their collars because they saw other people doing it."
