Four school indoor track records were set at the University of Arkansas Tyson Foods Invitational Saturday at Fayetteville, Ark.
Nina Gilbert, Latonia Wilson and Donesha Spivey set school records in the women's 200-meter, women's 400 and women's long jump, respectively.
The fourth record was set by the women's 4x400-meter relay team breaking its own record by nearly three seconds with a time of three minutes, 37.48 seconds.
The meet featured six of the top seven women's teams in the country, and nine squads ranked in the Trackwire top-25 ranking.
Head coach Gary Stanley said the meet was important to put Tech on the map nationally.
"It was a great day for us," Stanley said. "We had some great performances today in a meet that featured some of the top teams and athletes in the country."
Doria Appleberry, Wilson, Krystal Cole and Gilbert made up the record-setting quartet that finished third place in the relay with an NCAA provisional qualifying mark.
Wilson finished seventh in the 200 with an NCAA provisional qualifying mark of 23.74 seconds.
Gilbert broke her own record with a time of 53.67 and finished third in the 400. The time was also an NCAA provisional qualifying mark.
Spivey won the long jump competition with her school record 19 feet, 7 1/2 inches and also ran a 24.15 in the 200, which would be the school record if not for her teammate.
Shaterika Allen also had a personal best in the women's shot put with a throw of 46-2, which is the best Western Athletic Conference mark this indoor season.
And reigning WAC indoor and outdoor triple jump champion Ayanna Alexander had an NCAA provisional qualifying mark of 41-11 1/4. The mark fell just under 19 inches short of her season-best.
On the men's side, Kinsey Dinnel finished third in the 3,000 meters with a personal best 8:31.43 and ran on the men's distance medley relay team that was clocked at a season-best 10:12.51.
Johnathan Holland had a season-best time of 21.32 in the men's 200, barely missing the school record.
This was the last meet before the Lady Techsters try for their first conference championship in six years at the WAC meet Feb. 24.
Stanley said, "We have two weeks to prepare ourselves mentally and physically for the WAC meet, and we're looking forward to that."
