Pat Green made his way back to Rabb's Steakhouse, 2647 S. Service Road W. in Ruston last Friday.
Doors opened at 7 p.m., with an estimated 1,600 people in attendance.
The young and old came out to enjoy the concert, with the weather being nice with fair temperatures.
Opening for Green was the Domino Kings, making their first Rabb's appearance.
Sharing the spotlight was a marriage proposal, which Green helped set up for one of his fans.
The crowd was then sent into a frenzy of cheers, claps and "awws," when the girl came to accept the ring.
Green performed many fan favorites, such as "Carry on" and "Don't Break My Heart Again".
When Green began the first cords of his most well-known song, "Wave on Wave", people from all over the outdoor concert space stopped what they were doing and began stampeding back to the stage to sing along.
This summer, he will hit the road with Kenny Chesney on his 58-city arena tour, along with Gretchen Wilson. With the release of his newest album, titled "The Lucky Ones," Green's fan base is steadily rising. Although he is now selling out shows and playing arenas, Green has still been faithful to come back to Ruston and put on a great show.
