Debate team wins nationals by 1 point
The debate team won 12 awards and brought home the championship in the Intercollegiate Public Debate Assocation Championship last weekend.

The temperature reached a high of 80 degrees friday in Ruston as bands reached their own high notes throughout the day.



IDEA Place celebrates 10 years
A new scholarship, the Man of the Decade award, Perfect Ten awards and the introduction of plans to build a new facility were all part of the IDEA Place's 10th anniversary scholarship dinner celebration April 15.
