Room reservations underway for summer, fall housing

Tech housing requires all students living on campus for the summer and fall quarters of 2005 to pre-pay for housing. Students who live in the dorms should go to the housing office, located at 100 Hergot St. in Harris Hall, on the dates listed below to reserve their room. Prepayment for all rooms is $100. Residents with a last name that begins with M-Z wanting to keep the same room for fall can reserve their rooms today and tomorrow. Students who fail to reserve their rooms will allow other residents to claim that space for the fall. Residents wanting a different room for the fall can reserve their rooms beginning noon Monday through Wednesday for students who have 80 hours or more; those with 60 hours or more can reserve rooms at 1 p.m. May 4-6; those with 40 hours or more can reserve rooms at noon May 9-11. Those with 39 hours or less can reserve a room at 1 p.m. May 11-13. Students who fail to reserve a room by 5 p.m. May 20 must reapply for campus housing. For more information, contact Melanie Peel, coordinator of room assignments, at 257-4917.
