Transcripts available through
Bulldog Online Student System
Students and alumni with valid Personal Identification Numbers can order official transcripts on the Bulldog Online Student System.
The "Official Transcript Request" menu option can be used to order a transcript.
Transcripts can be mailed or picked up in Keeny Hall, Room 207. Students must complete at least one graded term before transcripts are available.
Transcripts are free, but a limit of five can be ordered at one time, and they will not be issued to students who have holds on their accounts.
Transcripts can also be requested by mailing or delivering the form available on the registrar's Web site, http://www.latech.edu/registrar/transcripts.shtml.

University post office offers several options to customers
Post office hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday year-round except on holidays when the university is closed.
Located in the basement of Tolliver Hall, the post office sells stamps, money orders and some collector's and limited edition stamps.
Mail can be sent internationally from the post office.
Pre-stamped envelopes are also available for purchase.

Registration, drop/add dates announced by officials
Registration, drop/add and final drop dates for the fall quarter have been announced.
General registration is Sept. 8 and 9, and the second purge is at midnight Sept. 9. Late registration is Sept. 10 through 14 and payment is to be made in full at time of registration.
General and late registration will be held Wyly Tower, Room 316.
The last day to drop a class with no grade is Sept. 14, and the last day to withdraw from a class is Oct. 29.
General registration may be accomplished online through the Bulldog Online Student System unless students have special permission signatures on their advising sheets.
Late registration must be done in person and students will have to pay an additional $50 for a late registration fee.

Dining facilities announce new and extended hours for the fall
Food Service hours of operation have been established for fall quarter.
Cafeteria hours are 7 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday and 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
Tolliver Hall will be open 7 a.m. to midnight Monday through Thursday and 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday.
Hours for Tolliver Hall include Java City and C-store, the convenience store in Tolliver Hall.
The Food Court, including Chick-Fil-A and Freshens, has hours of 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday.
Both Tolliver Hall and the Food Court will be closed on Saturday and Sunday.

International Dessert Night
free for students and faculty
The International Student Association will host an International Dessert Night from 7 to 9 p.m. Sept. 21.
The event will take place in Adams parlor, the formal lobby of Adams Residence Hall. The cost is free.
It is open to all students and faculty.
Desserts and beverages, put together by the students of ISA, will be served.
Sasha Poeschl, president of ISA and a junior architecture major, will be speaking about the ISA.

Refund checks available through electronic deposit
Students can request their refund checks be deposited electronically into their personal bank accounts.
Electronic deposit becomes effective immediately after completion of the Electronic Deposit Refund Authorization Form on the Bulldog Online Student System. Students must complete the form by noon Sept. 20 to receive electronic refund deposit for fall quarter.
The refunds will be deposited into student bank accounts Sept. 21, while paper checks will be distributed Sept. 23. Students will be notified via e-mail when refunds are deposited.
Funds will continue to be deposited into the specified bank account until students update their bank information or cancel their electronic deposit authorization.
Authorization will be cancelled automatically if electronic deposits are not made for 13 months.

Options listed for obtaining
grades via phone or online
Within one or two days after grades are submitted by instructors, students can retrieve them by telephone, via CampusDirect, an online grade system, or by using the Bulldog Online Student System.
Students can call 1-888-283-8865 and follow the interactive voice instructions to listen to their grades. Students can also visit the CampusDirect Web site, https://www.campusdirect.com, select their school from a list and choose the "Grades" menu option.
Students will be directed to enter their Social Security number and date of birth. Grades can also be viewed using B.O.S.S. Students can select the "Unofficial Transcript" menu option to view all of their grades.
Grades are available any time by telephone or CampusDirect, while B.O.S.S. is operational during its regularly scheduled hours.
