1. Call to Order: Patsy Bourgeois
The November 14, 2005 meeting of the University Senate was called to order at 4:00 p.m. in Ropp Center, Room 105, by Vice President Patsy Bourgeois.

5. Announcements
Academic Honor Code – Guests included Dr. James King, Vice President of Student Affairs, Richard (Dickie) Crawford, Dean of Student Life and Auxiliary Services, and Galen Rockett, Director of Judicial Affairs.
Dean Crawford presented an update on the Academic Honor Code. Presentation included information faculty participation, the creation of a short form for faculty violation reports and the make up on the Academic Honor Council.
The preamble to the Academic Honor Code was read and suggestions were offered to how faculty could promote student awareness of the Honor Code. Posters reflecting the core values of Louisiana Tech were distributed for faculty to take to academic areas.
