Early Admission

Early Admission is for qualified high school students who wish to attend Louisiana Tech University full-time for the purpose of receiving their high school diploma based upon successful completion of 24 semester credit hours of college work. A student may be admitted by meeting the following qualifications:

  • A “B” or better average on all work pursued during three years (six semesters) of high school;
  • A minimum ACT composite score of 25 (or 1130 SAT CR + M), submitted to the university prior to June 1st;
  • Recommendation from the high school principal.

Students successfully completing this program will effectively earn their high school diploma and college credit simultaneously.

A completed application for admission and recommendation form must be submitted to the Admissions Office no later than one month prior to the beginning of the quarter.

You will have to print the Early Application Form. You must have your principal’s signature in order for the application to be complete.

Please note that the Undergraduate Admissions Application is for DOMESTIC UNDERGRADUATE students only.

If you have read all of the above requirements and are ready to apply, please fill out both forms below.
