Life on Campus
Louisiana Tech is dedicated to ensuring each of its new students are given the tools to succeed in their first year as a Bulldog. In your Online Orientation, you will learn the ins-and-outs of life as a Tech student via our orientation course on Moodle. Through Zoom you will get to meet your Orientation Student Leader (OSL) and advise for Fall classes with your academic department. With the move to online orientation, we have had to make some changes to our session schedule, please continue reading below to get an idea of what your orientation week will look like.
All students will remain registered in their current orientation session and will participate in the below orientation events during those dates.
Monday Before Orientation
One week before your orientation, you will receive the following three items:
- A text or phone call from your Orientation Leader (OSL) to the number you provided on your undergraduate application.
- An email with a detailed schedule of your orientation week and instructions on how to participate.
- Important credentials (via email), which will allow you to set up your Louisiana Tech UserID and Password (used to access Moodle, your Tech E-mail, and BOSS).
