Dear campus community,
Good Friday morning.
Please remember that the Louisiana Army National Guard will conduct COVID-19 screening tests from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. today at Argent Pavilion. Register online at https://www.doineedacovid19test.com/Ruston_LA_1462.html and print your testing voucher ahead of time. Today is the last day that the Guard will be here. We are so grateful for their service during this time.
Students, we are about four and a half weeks until the end of the Fall Quarter. Take a little time today to assess where you are with your classes and what types of adjustments you might need to make to achieve your goals for the Quarter. If you are struggling, please reach out to your professors today and get their guidance on what you may need to do to get on track. Don’t slack up. Regardless of where you stand, consider what you should do today to put yourself in a better position tomorrow. Best wishes!
The Quatrain online
This week, The Quatrain, a publication produced in our College of Liberal Arts, was published to our Digital Commons.
Thanks to the work of Instructor Anna Kelley, Dr. Erin Singer, and student editor Katelyn Swanson, The Quatrain was edited and printed in the spring quarter despite the restrictions that came along with the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Quatrain allows students in all areas of our University to contribute their writing and art to a journal that continues to excite and inspire all of us. I encourage you to read the publication online or to pick up a printed copy in the GTM Room 104.
I hope to see you this weekend as we play host to a very good C-USA foe Marshall University at 5 p.m. Saturday in The Joe. Please remember to wear your masks and practice physical distancing at the game, which will also be broadcast on the CBS Sports Network.
Have a productive weekend, Bulldogs.
